C# app update
Published (2009-11-10 08:59:00)
I think you missed the point: they do allow you to do this, but by unchecking that box you explicitly turned that feature off. And the most likely reason to explicitly turn a feature like that off is that you need to be able to verify your installed app. Therefore allowing third party tools to change it would be counter-productive.

ASP.Net, Classic ASP, and Java
Published (2009-11-04 19:04:00)
At the present time, I write website code in Classic ASP and create MySql Databases with java. I am considering using ASP.Net but have some questions. 1. Is it possible to create a MySql Database with ASP.Net? I do not want a utility. I want to be able to use code like I do with Java. If so, can you recommend any books or online code? 2. Does ASP.Net have an equivalent for java beans? With java beans you can call a function from inside a JSP...

Tasklist /M

Well I got some great help on how to do it in C++ so I was able to finally do it in VB.NET. But I do still have two questions hopefully someone can help me with. (1) Why does it throw an Access Denied error sometimes? I had to put it in a Try-Catch block. The error happens when it tries to read Services. Processes get read fine, but not Services. Do you think it's just because I don't have Admin privileges on my PC? Or do you think...
