There is a free open source version of Xcom, that is still very actively developed http://ufoai.sourceforge.net/ Back on topic - I think my favourite game of all time must be either Baldur's Gate or Deus Ex. Just read that Deus Ex 3 is in development - it's a prequel and it's more like Deus Ex 1 than Deus Ex 2.

Ok I'm really struggling with this and I need a simple answer!!! Some characters that end up in our database are showing the little weird character square: � instead of pound signs (£) and sometimes apostrophes ('). Is it the general convention to have all HTML pages encoded as UTF8? or other? and why? Also, what about database collation? Does this need to match the HTML ...

I was at work one day and I was wondering what I could put on my desktop that was fun and exciting. I thought of one of those bumper stickers that say "My other car is a Porche". You usualy find them on 89/90 cavaliers or whatever other POS car you see. Anyway this is what I came up with. It took about 5 minutes of googling for images and then I added the blood.... Enjoy...
