WI Kali Group, Interesting take on the hammer. I've seen knives sold with a special end designed to shatter a window. And the serrated edge of the Spyderco folding knife is particularly handy for law enforcement who have to cut seatbelts to extricate people from vehicles. I think there is a lot to be said for real world tools that serve as weapons and vice versa.

Hi Darrin, Thank you for your reply..I am a direct student of Guro Tony Yarwood who learnt the art directly from GM Manuel Caballero, the son of the late GM Jose Caballero. A very interesting aspect of the De Campo 1-2-3 Orehenal which not too many people know is that the system is not exclusively a Largo Mano system but has as part of the curriculum the Corto range and knife fighting as well..and coming back to the secrecy of one style...

Thanks to the both of you for the help. Hope to gain more info as the date grows closer. I do have a FMA background, but this would be my first experience with the Sayoc group. Would it be necassary to know some specifics of the Sayoc system before going to the Sama Sama. Or could I count on my knowledge base to suffice me through? Of course I would want to maximize the experience and get as much out of it as possible. Thanks again for the...

A bit of advice that most people don't think of. In modern cars with automatic windows. If your car loses power (say if it gets submerged. You can not roll down your window. If say your car get submerged and the doors won't open because of accident or obstruction you are trapped. Same in an accident. You should always have a hammer and knife handy to smash a window or cut a seat belt. Also they used to sell mini clubs with tire...

how about a spearheaded shovel. basicly a fixed bayonet. you can do a driveby with your hammer(hammer thrown at 35mph + car traveling ad 65 mph= a hard lick) then do a ninja roll out of the car as you pass sending the car toward the hammer-stunned enemy then banzai charge with your shovel.

Well, I could read it. Crazy stuff, I can't believe it happened. Everything was laid out and they did nothing, not even enquiring for the obvious clues that were in the scene and in the versions of the event.
