Some more info...when the monitor is unplugged from the PC and I turn the monitor on, the color test box appears.  it states Auto Detect...self test feature and the 4 color bars - the screen then goes blank, but the blue light (on light) stays in the blue mode. any ideas?

Never mind about using Adobe's ICC file.  I was able to open up the Dell ICM file on my mac (OS X 10.6.2) and found that it stores different values then what the Adobe ICC file holds. The program that comes with the mac was also able to verify the file and mentioned that the part that was broken was the description field.  I had it repair the file (This was actually an option!), moved it back to the PC, associated it...

When connected via the HDMI or the DVI input, that option is unavailable.  In my conversation with tech support it was explained as the monitor should auto adjust on its own and therefore would not be necessary to adjust manually.  Obviously, it's not working out that way.

Hi! I have never ran a dual monitor system before, so this might be a waste of time, however heres a shot. In the monitor properties when you see monitor 1 and 2, try clicking on the 2nd monitor to see if it switches. If that doesn't work, see if you have an ATI or Nvidia control panel in the control panels section and see if there is not an option to switch to the 2nd monitor (your tv). If ...

I am having the same exact problem, except I don't have the Slim model 540. I updated to the latest ATI Radeon driver (8.671.0.0). I also tried to update the monitor driver, but when the extractor file did not seem to have an .exe file included. I also checked the settings on the monitor and it is set to fill. I don't have this problem when I use a VGA cable to connect the video card to the ...

Thavenaar, I have always used these Recommended Wireless Router Settings and NEVER had a problem connecting. Broadcast your SSID(Chane the name to make connecting easier) Use WPA-PSK(TKIP) Security (Personal) I used mixed mode as the printer and USB adapters connect better with this mode. Unplug the printer from the wall. Now remove the power brick from the back of the printer for 60 seconds. Plug everything back in. This will reset any error messages the printer has. Power on the printer. Open the printer and take out the Dell Series 5 Black cartridge. make sure all the tape is off the cartridge and put the cartridge back in. Now do the same for the Dell Series 5 color ...

David, Peter - I had the same issues with my U2410 on Vista 32 bit. The same Photoshop message and also a weird green tint in Photo Gallery/Viewer (not the green/pink tint issue others are reporting, this one was only in the Windows Photo Gallery area and it's a uniform tint). What solved it for me was calibration using a Spyder 3 Pro. The Spyder software created a new .icm profile ...

Hello, I don't have that model, but I do have an educated guess ... Look at the picture labeled 'Stand' . Just below the metal piece there looks to be a button of sorts that might release the friction pressure of the slider. It's a shot, let us know if I hit anything.

Yes, that is what I am saying. The video systems are the comprable and it is not an option to take it to work. It has to be a setting somewhere. It appears as if the files are being converted from RGB to CMYK uning a poor technique and the vibrant colors are turing muddy and desaturated.
