So exactly when did the LIBs do a 180 concerning the quality of care at the VA? Was it when it was no longer politically expedient to do so? I could bump all the threads that plainly show that the LIBeral attitude was that the VA was awful but I would probably be suspended for banning. Like the author seems to imply I have long thought that continued GDP growth and environmental sustainability were incompatible.
Saying energy use is a direct function of economic growth seems to make some sense.
I don't agree that a general decrease in energy use has to mean a decreased standard of living. It could and should mean simply a reduction in excess materialism.
