Tivo boots up to standby mode...
Published (2009-12-18 18:17:00)
Hello, I turned off (standby mode) my Hughes Series 1 DTivo unit. When attempting to power it on again, nothing happened. So I unplugged the unit and plugged it in again. The system boot screens appear and the final screen is the standby mode gray screen. Hit the power, Tivo menu, and live tv buttons, nothing happens! Anything else I can try? QD

DSR7000 one tuner pixelation -...
Published (2009-12-18 03:41:00)
Same issue with a DVR39 (pixelation on one tuner), replaced it with a DSR7000 that I got as a spare a long while back and never used. Unsubbed DVR39 is still on the net, since it's full of shows recorded before the pixelation. No issues seen on the DSR7000 so far. Will be replacing all of this with an HR2x pretty soon, as the bedroom now has a 37" Vizio (thanks Santa!). My take: it's a hardware issue.

Grab the older version of AW's tools and replace your current version of fakecall with the older one. It'll work fine.

Here is what I know so far: OS 4.0b Native drivers support Linksys USB200M V1.0 OS 6.1 Native drivers support Linksys USB200M V1.0 It is currently my belief that the above OS's should support same NICs as for 6.2a. However I don't have proof yet. OS 6.2a Native drivers support Linksys USB200M V1.0 Xterasys XN-121 Netgear FA-120 DLink DUB-E100 Any NIC using the ...
