If Manu looks like he's healthy, and decides to leave SA - the Mavs wouldn't have a chance unless he's only getting MLE or less offers, which is possible. If he wants more than the MLE the Mavs have no chance at him, because I can't see the Spurs agreeing to work with the Mavs on a S&T.....unless they rip us off.

Unfortunately I missed this one. Judging solely by the box score, it would seem like this one should have had a much larger victory margin. Was it our lack of offensive rebounds that kept them in this one?

I like Gooden, but we've seen how inconsistent he is. No we wouldn't have won this game without him, no doubt, but he has to do this game in and game
out before I can feel comfortable with him being the backup. Anyways, he had a great game and deserves credit. He seems like a really nice guy so it's not
hard to like him, and cheer for him on a night like this. Great win.

The only other possible game they might lose (when comparing project capabilities of each team and home/away) is @ Phoenix. I figure we'll win one or two

He is a joke. If he keeps calling plays like this, we will be one and done in the playoffs.
Constantly trying to run the same predictable running plays in short yardage situations is like beating a dead horse...it's NOT going to work so you have
to adjust to something else to keep defenses honest. Not once did I see a playaction even attempted, it was just RUN,.RUN, RUN, RUN.

Of course, that then doesn't factor in the fact that had he made the shot, the Blazers would have had a 5-4 advantage on offense for the final 9 seconds -
had they chosen to attack the Mavs rather than call a timeout.
If a shot going in still isn't a complete positive, you probably shouldn't take that shot.

A couple things seem obvious to me:
Roddy should be starting games. I don't mind him not playing late in games (since I want the big Kidd/Josh/Matrix lineup or use Jet and play Marion at PF),
but he has shown an ability to start hot on both ends, so RC should exploit that to get him some experience. You can't develop potential by observation,
and we need him in the POs.
