( Will there ever be a point when we can say, "Hot damn! That's it. We've climaxed. We have officially made the best game ever and don't need to change and critique the rules any more." ? I'm tired of so many tiny changes, strange changes, sexual orientation changes, name changes, and super weapons. Whose with me? Keep Dag the way it is. Except maybe the metal elbows and knees rule. We can ...

( OK so this has recently come up in my mind as well as in my relm, fugl brenna. why does leather and linnen armor count the same as metal???? shouldn't metal give more protection? you know 3 hits to kill a metal protected area and 2 hits to kill a leather protected area. now its just 2 hits no matter what. ,Remember the Grin >\)!!! 4.1.11.2.5 - Balance above the top of the handle (i.e., blade heavier than handle). What is the reason for this rule? I'm not trying to get rid of it or anything, I'm just curious as to why it was added. Posts: 105 | From: aggelgorod | Registered: Nov 2007

( Alright, I've done this search a few times but I can't seem to find a solid consensus from recently on whether you're allowed to have maille on your hands. I've found stuff from back in 2001 where it is mentioned as being banned alongside maille elbows and knees, but that rule obviously changed. So, once and for all, is it legal to have maille covering your hands? ,Nemo of Calh, fighter ...

( The way I learned to check a pommel that was lose is to see if it springs back to its original position. \(If you twist it and it pops back its good.\) They may be lose but are still attached. I am a pommel fighter so I know when my pommels are lose and when they become unsafe but being held on to where they spring back is how I have always been told to check them, I don't see anything wrong...

( Don't worry about it; lesson learned! I don't know how to delete posts, but certainly there's the edit button \(looks like a page or piece of paper, upper right in your post\) and you can change the post title to whatever you want. ,-Kappi "Kip" Christophoros, Varangian Council Tr, Posts: 349 | From: Howard County, MD \(Varangia, Aratari\) | Registered: Oct 2007)

( I have been going over the armor rules trying to put together a more comprehensive method of checking armor. Our armor rules really need some looking at. the common sense modifier \(which we all know isn't that common\) is used far to heavily for current armor checking. I remember a person at an event not so long ago that I would have failed his armor looking at it, by the rules we have now, ...
