One of the things that I admire about the Borne movies, is how I feel connected to the action... in most of my old favorite Bond flicks... they're fun, but you always feel like you're watching a show. "Shaky-Cam" is reaching high-art. Have you ever heard speed metal or some insanely quick house-music, and at first thought it was stupid, and then something clicks and you begin to appreciate the skill behind it?...

Finally saw some of the films recommended. That Holly Mountain I admit was pretty weird, but I was not prepared for Eraser Head, wow... that is on a whole other level of weirdness... I don't think I'll ever be the same after watching this. It got me to wonder as I watch a few of these movies, I wonder while the Acting is going on, do some of the Actors think to themselves while performing the scenes or even afterwards, "What...

Saw it today and thoroughly enjoyed it. The new Bond movies remind me why it's still fun to go see a movie at the theater.

I liked the story and it had a couple really great moments (one involving the lottery at the hotel ) but the editing really drove me nuts. Shakycam doesn't really bother me much at all and seeing the Bourne films in a theater never phased me in the slightest, but so many of the really good looking shots in this film just got cut way faster than I would've liked (reminded me of Tony Scott, the only major director I just outright...

Just saw it. Action scenes where cut too fast to actually see any of the action. Like what was that move with the anchor on the rope? It went by too fast to see what he did. It was ok, but it lacked one thign that has generally been nice and clear in bond movies (even if there have been twists, there has always been): a defined mission. I hope that with the closing scene, they can leave behind all the "personal drama"...

Not the Bond people grew up with but I really liked it. The only reason I went was because I kept hearing people talk about the action sequences. So I had no expectations for this to be good or bad, nor did I care. I just wanted to view this from an academic point of view of what's the current standard for a big budget action movie. Mostly from a cinematographical standpoint. It feels very modern to me. Very Bourne Ultimatum style...

Man that director must really like the idea that the world is ending.

Some pictures of Heroes Zachary Quinto popped up online. I hope this movie is good, but what I've heard of the plot doesn't sound that promising. Time travel again! That said I'm enough of a fan of the original series that seeing Kirk and Spock back up there on the big screen will be exciting. And Abrams directing has been solid so far. Lost and Alias both had two of the best directed pilots I'd...

A few months ago, my lady friend got into the twilight series, became and absolute fanatic, and got me to read them so she would have someone to talk with them about. Seeing as the movie was coming out later in the year, i read the first two to give myself some perspective for the film. And i am glad i did. Not sure who's seen it, but it was probably one of the worst film's I've seen this ...

One of the new Bond girls here: http://justjared.buzznet.com/2007/12...erton-bond- 22/ Yay or Nay? I think she'll end up being the secondary Bond girl, with someone else coming in as the main one. I'm geared for this movie. This and Dark Knight are 2 of my most anticipated movies of 08

I was wondering if you guys took a look at this trailer or read about this film. This film won top honors at the last Cannes Film Festival. It was shot on HDV but much of the shots look super clean. I am wondering if you guys know which camera this was shot on and if any type of 35mm adapter was used. Also, I want to know what you guys think about the look of the film. http://www.apple....
