Thats where I was heading, but I'm not sure either. I've never seen solid pipes like that on aftermarket IC's.

You're better off taking that to the Honda forums or doing some research yourself. I'd be surprised if they were interchangable. While you're at it, you need to re-read rule 7.

Have you tried the method of welding a washer to the broken stud then welding a nut to the washer and turning the stud out that way. I got lucky had two broken and drilled them out with some high dollar bits. Then used a harbor frieght extractor with ease.

Yea, if it only has 3 plugs its most likely a 1g ecu. Throw up a pic and we can ell you for sure. Please also read rule 7 before you post again.

http://www.mitsubishi-forums.com/t35...-evo-1-ecu.htm Looks like its an ECU for an RVR? Looks like it'll work in a 1g. Pretty cool, but you can't use it in your 2g. Pop off the cover and check if its an Eprom. Post pics if you can.

So while I was mounting the stock coil pack back up, I lost two fuel rail spacers, so now I have to wait until I can get a set of them. While doing this, I realized how totally overwhelmed I am by my cluttered engine bay, and I'm just about ready to rip it all out and clean it up.

Loose Exhaust Manifold

Are you sure it's not just a piss load of oils you sprayed everywhere during the rebuild that's just burning off? My favorite way of doing an exhaust leak test is to put my face close to it and see if my eyes start burning from the fumes.

What BOV do you have on the car currently? I swear, thats one sexy laser. I also love the hell out of the 2G GST chrome rims!! Your very lucky to have all this nice stuff at your age. I'm 26 and still have yet to break into the 12's with my car. Can I borrow it for a little bit? I'll give it back...swear..

I am just learning my way around dsm's but the only reason I've had low oil pressure in other vehicles I've owned was due to bottom end wearing out. Bearings start to wear out and the oil flows through too easily to keep the pressure up.

ok, first of all , I am not a scientist ! BUT in my thoughts I feel that the bigger fuel pump should not affect gas milage. Now higher pressure at the injector when it opens for that split second would allow MORE gas to the engine. So fuel pressure is the key here. If the stock regulator can release enough extra pressure and maintain the proper pressure then there would be no problem. If the ...

Yes, you can unplug it with no CEL.
Don't cut the throttle cable, its very easy to take out. Unhook the one end from the cruise box, unbolt the two 10mm bolts holding on the cable bracket to the fire wall, then undo the other end from the gas pedel. Then you just have to take the box and actuator off and you just cleaned up your engine bay.

I have the mechanical boost, electrical water temp, and electrical oil pressure gauges from Prosport. I absolutely love them. Accurate and they look pretty good too.

It sounds like your alternator is slowly taking a shit.

Sounds like a crappy suggestion but try doing a boost leak test, it may solve the idle issue. You said your car has been down, it could have developed a leak somewhere.
As for the alt charging issue, 13.8v is normal, so if your not having actual electrical issues, I would think the alt isn't causing any problems your having.

I think TDO5H is small 16g
One of these should match
49178-01010 - 14b
49178-01520 - Small 16G
49178-01420 - Big 16G
49178-01470 - EVO III 16G
49179-05200 - TD06 - 16G
49178-05200 - TD05H -16g small 16g from a Galant
Check the serial number on the turbo.
It says
49178-01420 - Big 16G
But it also says TDO5H which means small 16g from Galant... WTF?

Plugs gapped right? Wires good condition?
Are you using COP? I know mine did that TONS when decel, went back to stock.
On decel you should go way lean, as your injectors are shutting off since your not using much fuel at all..

A narrowband A/F will tell you nothing of value. You're better off spending
the money on a full wideband setup.

1990 Talon Short Shifters???
I have been looking and searching for a short shifter for my 1990 Talon TSI and everything I find says 89-94 (except 1990). Is there a short shifter on the market for a 1990 Talon or do I have to buy a 91-94 shifter (for whatever reason it is different) and then a short shifter for that?

Alright I broke down and took some pictures. Please excuse the watery mess, I took my radiator cap off a little too soon to check coolant level. I first tried running a shorter IC pipe setup without the coolant catch tank and realized quickly that it was a bad idea. I'm still working on cleaning up my install, unfortunately I had to throw a few things together due to limited time in the shop ...
