The guy painting my car is a friend of a friend and cut me a real good deal on it. Except he only does custom paintjobs and he showed me a paintjob like this that he did before on a different car but that car got totaled so he decided to do it again.

Ok im not saying that a mustang is a fire breather from the factory, but gheez they deserve respect, they have a lot of potential. I don't really mind the looks of the sn95 mustangs, and they were quite popular so the rest of America must not either. You have no argument about it being easier to go fast in a mustang either, it takes no brains to put on a set of headers, a cam, intake/carb, and maybe heads, which can put you over 300 horse...

The weather stripping has been off since I've had the car. I took them off because allot of the white pins that hold them in were breaking so it was half on so i decided to just take them off and I'm starting to really like this look on it.

Just brand new clean aluminum.

I love forums! You ask one question, you get everything but the answer. Yes i like shaved doors, yes i can do the body work, No i don't care who or what you guys think of them, i just wanted to know if there was a place to put the solenoid with out fabing anything. The exterior door handle has nothing to do with my question, i can still have door handles on the outside with door poppers installed, I'm not but just saying. Am i...

Have your dad take a picture and email it to you, then post here. I've NEVER heard or seen OEM calipers being painted.

Another alternative to sanding is using a scotch pad. I always use scotch pads on things to scuff them up for paint. Works great. Also you can use body filler instead of jbweld. Either way, good write up!

Of course it is. Its also pretty stupid to do. The point of the reverse lights is to light up what is behind you so when you back up at night. The biggest reason to keep them clear is so that other people know you are backing up and dont run into you.
