The 1.8 you're talking about is the 4G93 from a Galant. They are an entirely different setup and will not interchange. Unfortunately as well the 4G63 (2.0L DOHC) distributor will not work neither. That setup is for the 4G61, 4G63, and 4G64 lineups of engines, which essentially are the same block. Parts shouldn't be that had to come by. The large majority of 1G DSMs are 1.8Ls. ...
