got my car yesterday (fiesta zetek) at long last after about 6 weeks looking. I checked the spare wheel, got spare key and got the wheel nut key too. I was in the show room 5 HOURS looking at different cars!!! Knew everyone there by their first names by the time Id fininshed Everyones posts on this site have helped me loads as did Honest Johns website. Thankyou very,very much everyone.

Set the dial at '0' for normal use - and for MOT testing. You can then adjust the lamps as you need for weight of loads. John

My car is a P Reg Corsa . Its due for its MOT in Feb and Ive got a feeling its gonna be pretty expensive this time, so Im thinking about getting a nearly new car. Ill not be able to access my funds till Jan 7th so would be looking for a car between then and when MOT is due. Anyhoo, this is my dilemma. Im planning on going to a big used car outlet eg Car Craft or similar and paying £4000-5000...

I can't remember the exact details of that model but, behind the engine where the wiper motor and heater fan usually sit, there should be a drain. Look for a rubber tube about an inch in diameter at the bottom of that area. It should drain into the back of the engine compartment but sometime gets blocked by leaves and such like.
