If I read your post correctly, the load with the alteernator connected was 3.6A and it fell to 0.7A when you disconnected it. They are both considered massive parasitic loads. Have a look at the following links. http://tinyurl.com/ycvpvlj http://tinyurl.com/yexngd9 __________________ Lang may yer lum reek.

yep, i'd say the alt is duff. The 700 milliamp draw could be something simple like the immobiliser light / radio etc, but it is worth pulling the fuses.

Pure wax anyone?

Theres no point in spending £££ on a decent wax if the car is not looked after and properly maintained. For example if your washing your car with a sponge and bucket and then drying it with a chammois then its pointless spending the money on a wax let alone polishing the car. Washing the car with a sponge : When you wash the car with a sponge all you are effectivley doing is dragging the dirt over the paintwork . Heres how what i think is...

take out the fuses until you find where the 700mA is going. It is 0.7Amp so over ten hours it will take 7 Amp-hours out of your battery

My frontera 2.3 1993 is suffering a slow drain from the battery. I have individually removed each fuse to try to isolate the problem item. I know it is through the 60A fuse in the engine compartment but cannot find out which parts are fed from this? Can you please help!

well you could try a colour based polish,or if you have all the time in the world then you go down the detailing route which involves using a clay bar after the polish. __________________ reality is for people with no imagination
