By default Windows Media Center 2005 uses Sonic encoder. As you are using InterVideo WinDVD so You should update InterVideo WinDVD. Make sure there is no insufficient or highly fragmented free disk space as they can contribute to DVD writing errors. Sometimes the recorded file may be causing the problem, converting it to another format can allow it to be written. Yes, you may try the hotfix ;ref:- http://support.microsoft.com/kb/894553/en-us...

Hi everybody,
I'm looking for software that would allow me to create media center for
music only.
Basically, I'd like to replace my WinAmp or Windows Media Player with
something similar as the Media Center, but I have no need for TV/Video.
Media Center itself is overkill for this, also because it should run on the
same hardware as my media players (which is a Pentium III)....

I am using Windows 7 Internet TV trying to watch the CBS MacGyver Pilot. The video takes a long time to load, and Internet TV tells me this. Then it throws up an error dialog that states "This video is not available...". Then, within just a second or two, the video starts. Unfortunately there is this large error dialog sitting over the now running video. When I click to acknowledge the error, the...

The manufacturer's (Dell, Sony, HP, etc.) restore program is designed to
