as for other gear i'm probably not the guy to talk to. i have my jacket, helmet and gloves. i wear shorts and tennis shoes. regular street jeans are worthless. and you really should have boots or shoes with ankle coverage.

On a different note, one of my 2 helmet orders has been cancelled so far. Daaaaaaaamnit. I wonder if they were out of stock- the ad mentioned there were 2 for that price. Or did they go ahead and cancel both orders. Time will tell.

I have ridden an 09 450 and it feels the same as previous model years with the linkless suspension. I dont like it and takes way too much effort to make it work...and then it still feels odd. If it was so great, then why are they switching to linkage?
