My Dr. does not like to wait either ( nor do i) . I am wondering if you can get a peripheral iv put in at home by a home infusion company in the mean time till Monday . That way you wont allow 3 more days for whatever is going on to get worse. 9 when I was 1st admitted. Which is why I find it weird people say "oh my kid has mild CF or atypical or even "two mutations" but no symptoms yet . I think most drs. , if they cant get you in would say to go to the dreaded emergency room if you feel that bad I hope and pray you feel better soon !!! Chronic Pancreatitis is not pancreatic insufficent. It is inflamation in the pancrease. In CF the problem with the pancrease is that the enzymes produced by the pancrease can not usually be released to do their job, because mucus is blocking the ducts. I would not recommend getting your pancrease out. U need it to live. I would put to much time into worrying if u r going to get cancer, most cancers are out of our control or not fully...
