Alright. For the last two months I have removed almost every bike related thing, event, ritual from my life in order to focus on my senior year and just take a break in general. No bike at school, no dvd's, no anything except for checking cycling/velo/pezcycling news sites: and yes, that means no forums for a while either. I kept clean legs for a few weeks, but even that stopped...

I finally found through the web about the 1993 program where the US Gov did give the Big 1 Billion to develop a hybrid high fuel efficiency car! They wasted their chance! And no Japanese companies could participate in the program! Now, only the Japanese have real good hybrid cars, that they developed at their own expense! Congress should wake up and bitch to the Big 3 about this past R&D...

I picked up my first road bike on Craigslist a few weeks ago, and I know next to nothing about it. It's not crucial or anything that I know; I'm just curious. A year or a model would make me happy. What I do know is that it's made by Takara. All that's been able to tell me is that it's from the '70s or '80s. Head badge: Found on either side of the handlebars: It's a 12-...

Clipless falls are a part of the fun... and even with practice, they sometimes happen. I have fallen three times, and always with witnesses. Enjoy the bike!

Finally Primal does something right with a BH-G4 giveaway. I saw their ad on Road Bike Action, but here is the direct link their ad on the home page. It's right below the fold. The way I see it, sign-up and you can always unsubscribe if they email you. https://www.primalwear.com/bhbikegiveaway.htm Happy Travels!

This thread is more than 2 years old now but blogging seems to have really taken off in the mean time. I've had a blog for years but have only just started realizing that it makes a great diary of rides and easy to go back to later for details about old rides. List your blogs here if you have one as I'd like to see what others are doing. Mine is here anyway....
