Unless you compete and your sponsors supply you with DA 7900, why would you use it? For me, Shimano 105 is as good as I will ever need, and Ultegra strokes my ego sufficiently. I'm not saying that you should not get it if you want it and can afford it. All that I am saying is that most of us wouldn't know DA from Ultegra (or even 105 for that matter) without reading the label.

IMO, this site presents a good overview of the saddle issues, evolution and fit. Note the links to "alternative" seats as well as the "sizing chart" application info at the bottom. http://www.jimlangley.net/crank/bicycleseats

10 spd 11spd who cares? IF your a racer on the pro circuit great you get it for free. If your a cat2 trying to move up to cat1 great ( do you really think your gruppo is what's holding you back ). I had Ultegra 10 spd it was nice but really it just made me fill the role of a wanabe racer. I'm actually using tiagra now with no complaints, it shifts, it's not picky or finicky. No I'm not racing but neither are half the...

Hi I just bought a new crankset and when I got it I was in a hurry and didn't notice that it is different from what i've been using in the past both in my MB and in my RB. The arms are 172.5mm and the old ones and the ones I've used for years are 175. I ride a 54 frame which is my right size, I may use a 55 or even a 56 with no problem. So my question is, would I feel any difference using ...

Out ona ride the other day I swapped rear wheels with a colleague and put his mavic cosmic carbon 12-27 DA onto my Campag bike. My shifting was excellent. A correctly configured single speed has an optimum (straight)chain line. This gives the best possible wear factor on chains and sprockets as well as the most efficient power transmission. All multi speed derailler bike riders avoid "cross chain" as much as possible, especially big ring-big sprocket, small ring-small sprocket combinations. This tends to accelerate wear on the drive system. ...

Mr Campagnolo, What were you thinking with your 11spd!! In 2000, we were excited with 10spd. It was a great step with improved aesthetics and better shifting and braking. But years of begging whils Shimano caught up and you and your Italian ways came back and ruined what was almost perfection. Why didn't you give us a 12-27 cassette, why did't you get rid of that rear spongy braking, ...

Besides spoke elbows, what fatigues on a bike? Skewers, maybe? They are stretched a great deal. Besides obvious things like bearings, what in your experience will fail on a high mile bike? Anything that will dump you at 20mph?

It is perfect for you because it has been great value for money, performs well, and it is something you would buy again without any hesitation.
