i could potentially run another wire through the wall to the router downstairs, but i dont have a cable crimper on hand, i would just as soon buy a second router for me upstairs. I might go out and pickup a crossover cable first, see how that turns out. If i run into any other issues ill keep you posted, thanks for the help.

Sometimes routers overheat and need to be unplugged, wait for 5 seconds, and plugged back in. Try that, otherwise... Are you sure the Wii was connected to your network and not a neighbors? Try going into the Wii Settings and setting up the internet connection again to make sure you are connecting to the right place.

Tom in Cyber Safety suggested I post this question here. I recently installed Sygate to replace Comodo. I keep getting notification of a rejection of Kernel & System. The Kernel & System that I keep getting notification on looks like it's: ntoskrnl.exe, TCP, it looks for an IP address and is located in c:\windows\system32toskrnl.exe. The notifications come up frequently Is this something...

I've come into a situation where it is necessary to encrypt multicast and/or layer 3 broadcast traffic in IPv4. I have read a lot of theoretical articles about how someone could write a program to do so, IRTF drafts, Multicast IKE, etc., but haven't come across any practical implementations of this. There have been one or two possible products used for multicast traffic encryption, but they ...

I'll try to update this post with a new term fairly often and roll off the previous to the glossary post found here . If you...
