Firefox problem...

Im using Firefox 3.05, and on one of my Windows user accounts, when you try to bookmark, it will bookmark it, but when you try to bookmark another page, it overwrites the old bookmark, replacing it with the just bookmarked page, i want to fix this, because its only on this one user account.

try again by reinstalling the Firefox. Hope it will be corrected. Might be your firefox is corrupted. Good luck dude

the problem i am getting is an extremely low buffer speed, ridiculously slow. i get the problem on both IE and Firefox, i have installed Flash Player 10 numerous times but it seems to have no effect and always reinstalls itself as if its not there :S i have updated my java and tried without the firewall on and there is no difference!

suddenly ie has gone to full screen size blocking out task bar and toolbars although tool bars appear when cursor goes to top of page. it doesn't happen with chrome. someone else used the machine,? changed a setting somewhere. any ideas? gary barnes

Friends older IMB laptop running win. 2000 has a problem with his Internet connection shutting off while on-line. He has Altell wireless connection. I tried his laptop on my cable hookup and had no problem. Removed then reinstalled his wireless software and have same problem. On his brothers computer,which I built,I use the same wireless USB hookup/software, and have no problem staying on line....

With the old IE, I used to be able to delete temporary files>delete all offline content, and still retain the cookies. Most banking websites advised that you do this after doing any internet banking. How can I set a computer up, that will be used for public access, to delete all cached and temp files upon a reboot? We are setting some computers up for public acces for emplyees, but would like to lower the risk of people getting others passwords and such. Thanks for any input.

about to go nuts here, i am running windows ME and firefox, i am about to upgrade my operating system so i desperately need to save or export my bookmarks to a floppy disk or cd, but i can NOT figure out how, all i can do is export them to a new file, like to my desktop, but not a floppy or cd,,anyone help me out? thanks!

Hey ya'll it me again. Some pages I serf to I get this toolbar thingy from firefox that says, " Firefox prevented this page from automatically reloading. " Not bad I like it but there is one page that I need the page to automatically refresh. How can I turn off the bar that prevents this? Thankie
