I'd like to find a search engine that will allow me to conduct a search for PC computer games based upon system specifications. To clarify: I want to enter in my system specifications, and have the search engine spit out a list of games that my computer can handle. I'm sick to death of looking at interesting reviews, or boxes, and then finding out that the game will not play on my system.

Call of Duty 4 PC shuts down

My PC has been shutting down while I am playing Call of Duty 4 online, if I then try to reboot nothing happens unless I turn off the power for about 5 seconds, it then fires up with no problems at all. I am able to play other games and use my pc in other ways with no problems whatsoever, however if I play COD 4 for more that 20 mins or so te pc will just turn itself off. I built the system 4 months ago and have had no problems till I started...

My pc easily is way over specc'd to run it. Ive finally found what it was anywho,for some reason the gfx drivers i had were from 2007,so i rolled them back and strangely the next one was 11/2008 and now it works!

Don't know of any game that REQUIRES 4GB of RAM although some may LIKE it. What it may require is 4GB of Hard Disk Space (they are different).

Well, the title says it all ... nearly. I try to run BF2142. Initial 'logo' appears and as usual the screen goes black while it loads. Then I get a brief flash of the BSOD before the PC reboots. I've videoed the fault and the words: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL appears on the BSOD before it goes. Over to you... Any ideas? help ps I thought I might have a ...
