I'd go with the Model 500FF
Free Form, HL76120 - Driving Kit. A little more compact. Where you plan on mounting them is ideal for driving lights. Fog lights work better when they're mounted lower and spaced farther apart.

Visibility for the light would be almost non-existent.

I think all you need is a switch and a relay to tap into the positive wire going to the reverse lights. The thing I don't know is how to prevent the switch from turning the light on when the gear is in reverse. That'll blow the
lightbulbs.
