Oh yeah, my aunt had done several decades worth of family research and had painstakingly found and researched records. For some reason a lot of it was in her vehicle and it was stolen...they trashed the records, etc. No one knows why she had it in there unless she'd been to the library. We did find out some years ago that my mom's oldest sister is really her half sister and no one is sure if grandad was her father or not....and for...

I think it's sad. I also thought it was sad when Bristol Palin was splattered all over the news when she had her baby. Everyone seemed to agree that it was her parents fault for putting her there. I didn't think that then, and I don't think that now. I believe the Obamas knew exactly what would happen. He chose to serve his Country in the highest way anyway. He is a great man, and I think he will protect his children more than...

Last week, Obama told one friend that he felt "a little boxed in." >snip> Obama already has learned that his mundane routine will be difficult to replicate as president, but his friends say that establishing some kind of similar comfort zone is critical to his success in Washington. They consider it one of the most pressing -- and most challenging -- issues of Obama's transition: How can he...

With 2.9 million votes cast in Minnesota, Sen. Norm Coleman has won his senate seat again by less than 500 votes over comedian Al Franken. An automatic recount has been issued. Norm wonders if it is worth spending tax dollars on a recount. MPR article . I didn't vote for either of them.
