for the most part, you have to buy elucence online. pleasantimage.com has the lowest prices for elucence products that ive ever seen. you may not be able to stick with just one product line and tahts okay. i think most of us have to pick and choose what products we like from each line. my straight pieces never turned curly, thats why i would cut them off instead of hanging onto them. kccc is kinky curly curling custard. actually, kinky curly...

There are several threads here on CJ products. I've posted a couple of photos. I usualy get a poofy/fuzzy fro, as you can see I got none of that. I DC'd with Curl Rehab, rinsed with Honey Butta deep fix then Honey Butta leave in. I finished with a bit of Aloe Fix gel. Oh, and the first photo was day 2. I never get day 2 and I actually got a week out of it.

I've had the same problem.. twists and braids unravel on my hair too.
I guess you have to secure the end with something: bobby pin, tiny jaw clips, or small rubber bands.

Did you used to flat iron your hair often? Could be possible you have heat
damage. If that's the case it's irreversible. Also what other products do
you use besides the conditioner and the he gel?

You and your curls are beautiful. Congrats on your BC. I think you look more like a 4A right now.
For moisture on my daughters hair I use shea butter mixed with coconut oil and Giovanni Direct Leave-in.

Girl..... You just asked the ten million dollar question. Unfortunately the answer is you won't know until you try. Miss Jessie's was too expensive to try if it didn't work or if it did. I tryed KK line, the KT is a good detangler and allows for good clumping, the CC left me looking jherrie curlish with lots of crunch, then POOF!!! Mixed chicks was way too light for me. While mixed, my hair ...

Gel is perfectly fine as long as it's curly girl! Some girls (me included)
don't like it because it coats weirdly on our hair and makes it stringy and
cruchy. A lot of girls can use gel just fine, and there's not problem with
it.

I think she sold out of a lot of stuff. That's just my guess though. I went there looking for the Natural coils curling jelly and she was out of stock of that as well.
She has a lot of her new stuff left, so maybe she sold out of all her regular stuff?

I miss urbancurls, too. Atleast we got her on myspace.
- I could be having a bad hair day, but then my SO(whom I'm not sure is a curly or not since he shaves his hair bald), always compliments me when I wear my hair out and wild. In his words, "I love when you wear your hair like that." Yes....he's a keeper. Always say he wants to run his hands through it. We all know that ain't happening. ...

I tried the Curls line too...wasn't feeling it either.
The Quenched Curls didn't really moisturize, and I ended up spraying on tons of it every day.
I used the Milkshake instead of the Souffle - smelled great, but didn't do much else for me. No frizz control, and no help with defining my curls.
The only thing that I liked was the Coconut Sublime conditioner. I felt like it got enough ...
