Yeah from what I've seen of him he looks very promising, he looks very much like Chris Gayle when he's at the crease though, it's actually pretty freaky the similarities between the two.

Just to be clear, the email is just an alphabetical list of the 99 players. I'm not including how many votes they've gotten or who voted for them - that can wait til after we've finished.

Nice article. McDermott was gun. Siddle reminds one of him as well, in appearance. Was at the 'G for that ODI vs Sri Lanka where he got two wickets off successive slow full tosses. The description is right - the batsmen were absolutely deceived and bewildered and it's always stuck in my memory. No mention of his verbal exchange with Border during the tour of England....

I'm actually really looking forward to this summer, the domestic cricket should be good, plus the new signings and transfers (especially the signing of oversea's internationals - Mendis and the like) is good. I wish Cowan stayed with us and actually had a chance to bat in the middle order, rather than opening and 3. Who will open for NSW this year? Khawaja should, IMO, unless he is...

Barath. I've never really been that impressed by Phillp Hughes tbh (I didn't get to see the South African series mind you). Barath from what I've seen doesn't really have a major weakness like Hughes has, although he does play at balls he could leave sometimes.

So technically this is a Pakistan 'home series', because nobody in their right mind is going to tour Pakistan anytime soon. So that being the case, that means the PCB has a say over how the pitch will play? Obviously you can't turn the pitch at Dunedin's University Oval into one similar to a pitch in Multan or Lahore, but you know what I mean....
