Yep. Unfortunately the downside of that workaround is that you loose all your custom outputs (like digital out). Also sometimes ingame voice chat system isn't working. It's not a problem for me as my guild uses teamspeak for communication but I understand this could be a real problem who use ingame voice chat often (i.e. in EM raids).   That's temporary half-working solution and we steel need a fix

I have Creative MediaSource 5 (5.01.25) on my new laptop that runs Vista. My old XP-based laptop has version 3.30.35 My options in the older version of "Select Recording Source" include 13 choices in addition to Mixer. Version 5.01.25 only lists "Follow Mixer Settings." How can I get the other options on here? I used my old laptop to edit recordings I made to pull out the necessary parts as highlights. When I try that on...

I thought that the Creative drivers for Vista and Serven are the same. They are not?! Or do you think Microsoft changed something in the audio stack so the problem is not fixed but simply does not appear on Seven?

Hello   My first post here. I am having some problems with sound on video files. It is almost no sound, and the sound that is there is only crackling noise. I have the Creative X-treme audio soundcard and have installed the Vista codec pack and the K-lite codec pack. I have also updated the soundcard driver.  The thing is that these problems only occure on video files, not on audio files such as mp3's. Can anyone help me?

I have XiFi Titanium Fata1ity Pro under Win7. I downloaded and installed the latest Win7 driver posted in the Support section (Jul09 - v2.17.0007 30Jul09) which installed Creative XiFi driver dated 13 July 2009 v6.0.1.1347.   However, Windows Update is offerring me an updated driver, apparently released in July 2009 and published in 19/8/09.
