Where did you plugged in the Mic? Frontpanel or rear connector? When in rear: use the creative audio-console to change the flexi-jack function to microphone. hmm... and when you right-click on the volume control in taskbar and move to the

I have the same problem. There is sound for everything except games when using SPDIF and DTS encoding enabled. However, I found out how to make it work. Just set the playback device to speakers and it will send send 5.1 DTS through SPDIF. I don't know why it works this way though. I mentioned this in another post concerning
