This is the last time I will feed you mr troll. But let me tell you this maybe you are not a troll and you really are stupid and I will give you teh benefit of the doubt. The reason why I am not at their board is because their audio card is working and there is no need for me to be there but as far as you know me, I could very well be there so you are again, just assuming that I am not there. As for the reason why I am here is because I...

Well I bought my new card on saturday. Asus Xonar Essence STX . It works perfectly in Windows 7 (64 bit) with 8 GB of ram. It also has this cool "virtual surround sound" feature that works with my headphones so now when I play WoW I have a simulated surround sound in the headphones and the sounds change based on how close/far I am from stuff and what side of my toon the sound is coming from.    Anyway you guys enjoy Creative and...

Where did you plugged in the Mic? Frontpanel or rear connector?   When in rear: use the creative audio-console to change the flexi-jack function to microphone.   hmm... and when you right-click on the volume control in taskbar and move to the input-devices, change the default kommunication to the microphone you use.

There will be no fix for this issue.  Creative has everyone in a position right now where they face the choice of buying a new sound card if they really want hardware audio.  Their business strategy will not allow them to correct the issue, they know they will likely lose a few customers, but they also know that a good percentage will simply upgrade to the Creative card that works (PCI-x version...

Hi, I just bought a Creative SB X-Fi Titanium and when I connected it, it got detected by Windows 7 x64 right away but not as Creative SB X-Fi Titanium but as High Definition Audio Device. I tried installing the official driver from Creative but it prompted me with "Setup has found a newer version of Audio Driver on your system". I tried SB X-Fi Support Pack 2.0 but it is still giving me the ...

When you get static that means you are passing the signal out, but you must still have DOLBY DIGITAL LIVE or DTS CONNECT turned on which is encoding the signal still.
