One More Thing, Someone said it doesn't work in 44100/16-24, just fine on 48000/16-24 BUT....!!!!! I'd tried 44100 and 48000 both with 16 and 24 bit , to playback mp3s with DirectX sound ,OR Cubase projects ASIO playback....e.t.c..... BOTH WERE WORKS!! but there have a tricks to do so... Not just change your patchmix , should be go to Control Panel-> Sound ...... there should have a blank ...

Are you working in ASIO mode (meaning the native Creative E-MU ASIO and not those Steinberg's AsioMMe/Asio directx drivers which both are installed by the Cubase installer)? IIRC, there are all instructions to set Cubase / PatchMix (on E-MU 1212M support / documentation). jutapa
