Thanks for the info guys. It seems most of you lean towards an auto for daily concealed carry. I checked out some of the websites of the holsters that have been mentioned and the concealment holsters are also geared toward auto applications versus revolvers. I have a thin(ner) frame, 6' 170lbs., and I'm thinking by the time I try to conceal a "fat" revolver and it's holster in the waistband area, there...

Just a few random thoughts on the carry subject from me I guess, lol. I carry an M&P9c. For me the LCP etc as a carry choice goes back to the caliber debate. Personally, I prefer a minimum of 9mm as a defensive round, but .380 is definately far better than nothing. Though, good defensive round selection becomes more and more important as the size and weight of the projectile decreases. Smaller rounds depend more on velocity to keep the...

Does any one here own a S&W Sigma? They are selling for about $300 after the S&W rebate right now. I field stripped one at a gun shop last week and frankly the damn thing struck me as about as close to a Glock without being one. I have no experience with this lift, but if can live with a shorter lift height it might be worth considering for your situation. http://www.maxjaxusa.com/ Save on redoing the garage roof. If I were serious about carrying, I wouldn't let concern about possible future confiscation stop me from getting a CCW. But since I'm not likely to ever carry, I'm thinking about it. I carried daily for years in places where a CCW was not available, but my situation is much different now...

I ended up going with the Lenovo S10 netbook. It has the same specs except 512 RAM for $350. I love it.
