Thanks for the info guys. It seems most of you lean towards an auto for daily concealed carry. I checked out some of the websites of the holsters that have been mentioned and the concealment holsters are also geared toward auto applications versus revolvers. I have a thin(ner) frame, 6' 170lbs., and I'm thinking by the time I try to conceal a "fat" revolver and it's holster in the waistband area, there...

Just a few random thoughts on the carry subject from me I guess, lol. I carry an M&P9c. For me the LCP etc as a carry choice goes back to the caliber debate. Personally, I prefer a minimum of 9mm as a defensive round, but .380 is definately far better than nothing. Though, good defensive round selection becomes more and more important as the size and weight of the projectile decreases. Smaller rounds depend more on velocity to keep the...

If I were serious about carrying, I wouldn't let concern about possible future confiscation stop me from getting a CCW. But since I'm not likely to ever carry, I'm thinking about it.
I carried daily for years in places where a CCW was not available, but my situation is much different now...

I ended up going with the Lenovo S10 netbook. It has the same specs except 512 RAM for $350. I love it. I have been using it daily and am seeing 3 hours battery life from the standard battery and will pick uo a 6 cell when they come out in the US ( already avail in EU ) and with both batteries charged I should be good for an international trip all on battery power. The wifi reception is ...

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- Core consumer price inflation increased just 0.1% in April, bringing the year-over-year increase down to 2%, just inside the Federal Reserve's target, the Commerce Department reported Friday.

How about an anecdote? I've built a couple of very simple websites, but I definitely am not up to speed on latest web dev trends. I test software for a living, so I interact with our websites daily, and think I have a sense of web layout to some extent, although I'm not a User Interface person (and apparently they're getting called " User Experience" now). So my mom is part of some committee to ...
