The Nexus One Launch
Published (2010-01-06 01:02:00)
Presumably when the Bravo launches, we'll be able to get the Nexus One + Touch Sense. So best of both worlds. The hardware is similar to the Bravo and the software I'm guessing is generic Android 2.1. So HTC will get their hands on it too. Not much happening over at: http://www.google.co.uk/phone Quote: m_w_clarke said.. I prefer the straight forward HTC site to give all the details:...

Microsoft at CES - The 2010 keynote Steve Ballmer and Robbie Back will be doing the opening keynote speech tonight in Las Vegas. It'll mark the opening of CES and there's already rumours that they will be unveiling the new HP slate / tablet PC. It's confused us slightly as these things have existed for a while but this should prove to be a much more advanced device with two 7" screens offering multi-touch capability....

It's their phone now and rightly so." http://www.coolsmartphone.com/article798.html I'm sorry, but when I told you that you can turn it off, and when I explained how you do it, why did you feel it necessary to try and prove me wrong? Quote: skuk21 said.. I am shocked at the price of the TG01! That is incredibly cheap it is *very* cheap - i am quite tempted to buy it and then flash a ROM with HTC's TouchFlo interface to replace the hideous Tosh GUI (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=442154) that said, if you can forego WinMo (I can't at present) the T-Mobile Pulse is a similar sort of price - having bought one for the missus i can't stop...

That phone with the HD2 rom would be good for the price. Shame about the lack of Wi-fi and its tablet size.

Nexus One looks to have multi-touch in European model From what we're seeing on heise.de it does seem that the European version of the Nexus One (on Vodafone) may indeed have the multitouch magic that is sadly missing on the US version we saw earlier in the week. A version of the handset shown at CES appeared to have the pinch-to-zoom functionality as part of the ...

Motorola does a BACKFLIP - Official Last month some blurry shots of an interesting Motorola phone appeared. It had a strange folding mechanism which meant that the QWERTY keyboard ended up on the outside of the phone when closed. Today, at CES, Motorola made the BACKFLIP official . Like the Motorola DEXT it has the MotoBLUR interface for pulling your online and phone-...

Sony Ericsson X10 on show at CES Fancy a look at the device that's over-taking the WinMo-powered X2? It is being displayed at CES and, although you can't get hold of one just yet, androidcentral.com have had a play with the device and posted up some pictures. There was a slightly noticeable lag in the GUI, despite the 1Ghz Snapdragon CPU, and Sony Ericsson have added ...

Moto confirms DEXT / CLIQ and BACKFLIP updates Well, there you go. Just minutes ago we were asking why the CLIQ / DEXT and BACKFLIP were on the market with the Android 1.5 OS and now they've confirmed that Android 2.1 will be available for both handsets soon enough. Now, why I'm even calling Android 1.5 "old" I don't know - it is, after all, just six months since ...

No Xperia X2 for Vodafone Well, we were already starting to get nervous about the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 when it got delayed but now things are starting to get much worse. HTC HD2 Gets HardSPL Treatment The xda boys have been up to their tricks again, with a HardSPL now available for the HTC Leo / HD2. The custom bootloader will in effect allow any ROM on your device and opens the gates to "unofficial" ROM upgrades on your handset. Be careful though, there's possible warranty and other issues to consider here before you plough ahead. ...
