Fried Oysters I take a can of oysters and drain them. I then take 2 eggs and beat them with fork. Dip oysters in there one at a time. Then take some crackers and crush them and dip the oyster/ eggs into the crumbs. Fry in butter/margarine for about 4 minutes each side. I love these and breaded oysters. Next Word is : WHIPPING CREAM.

I hope everyone on the east coast is ready for this hurricane and is out of harms way. She could get nasty the way things have been going for the last couple of years. Can never be too safe. Praying for you all.

This is a fast and easy dish to prepare, and it's delicious with hot cooked pasta or rice. Make this earlier in the day and refrigerate until it's time to cook. Feel free to use cream of mushroom soup or plain cream of chicken soup in place of the cream of chicken with herbs in this recipe. Ingredients: 1 can cream of chicken with herbs soup, undiluted 1/4 cup half and half or light...

Well we never made it to 61º today. The highest it got was 54º. I think I'll put on my winter PJs, housecoat and slippers and sit and watch 3 of my favorite shows that aren't reruns. (thank god). Depo, Carol and Elaine enjoy your races tonight. Hold a good thought for Ricky Bobby. LOL. I hope you all had a great day and will have a restful night. BJ

I am one happy "night owl"! I'm back to work and the kids are back to school......we're on our way back to our happy routine!! LOL! I wanted to get the thread started but I have to make a quick trip to the grocery store. We all drink different kinds of milk and I'm all out of skim! I'll be back soon!

I'm up, the coffee is dripping and I'd rather be in bed. It's a cool 53º so I think I need hot coffee and a warm robe. BRB. BJ

We all love Italian or Prune Plums. The Germans hardly can wait for the plums to ripen,to make their yeast dough plum cake and serve it with some whipped cream.I remember, sitting ouside, watching the Rhein river flow and having some bees flying around my cake and trying to taste it too. All the coffee houses serve this cake. I will post one recipe of this cake a little bit later. Please add your...
