Having trouble - can't post on KC

Only tried and true responses please. I would like to bake pumpkins pies on Monday if I knew they would freeze well for Thanksgiving. How do you thaw it after you freeze it to serve?

Does anyone have an apple cake recipe using a spice cake mix and fresh apples instead of the pie filling? I have searched for one and all the ones I have found have apple pie filling in them. I would love to use fresh apples. Anyone?

Back in the 60's I used to make a dish I believe was titled "Crabmeat and Rice Casserole". I can't remember specifics but it was a layer of cooked rice covered with a creamy sauce with crab meat, another layer of rice followed by the rest of the crab sauce and the entire dish was topped with a tomato mixture. I'm making an upside down German chocolate cake. Stuck a toothpick in it and it came out clean so I took it out of the oven. Cooled it for 10 minutes then inverted it onto plate and the entire center fell in. Is there anything I can do like maybe put it back in the oven and bake longer?

When a person would click on my screen name and my page came up, if they scrolled down the page to see my favorite recipes, the pictures used to rotate, along with the recipe names. I am looking for a corn casserole recipe that was creamy and had a very sweet topping. It wasnt corn cake like. The topping had brown sugar and crushed crackers in it. If anyone has this recipe I would love to get it. Thanks!

We had this problem a few months ago, and you kind folks fixed it, but it has come back. When I post a reply, instead of the page reloading with my reply added, I get an error message. I don't know if it's happening to everyone, but several have commented on it.

I have moved to 4000 ft altitude. My quick bread and cakes are not turning out. Is there a rule of thumb for high altitude recipes. My favorite is Best Ever Banana Bread from the Taste of Home's Best Holiday Recipes 2004. Help
