I never actually flew with them, but I lived and worked at the
Yellowknife airport for almost four years. Saw Buffalo Air DC-3s a lot. It was pretty neat to
see those old planes flying around.

Anyone who used to play with Scalextric/Slot Racing/TCR (or still does) will not be surprised to hear that the model I saw struggling along the track kept
stopping... and the model on the other track failed to arrive. Frantic efforts to chivvy it along only partly succeeded.
