Ooh Well ir still is great that you finished it And good luck with your master study! I think it's already coming along nicely. You drew a lot of guide lines so it should be a piece of cake ;p Check the head on the right though, it seems to me like his head and 'hat' are a bit to small, that they should be...wider actually Can't wait to see you finish this!

Couple more sketches from today and yesterday...
I turned the sketchbook to draw the tissue box. My pen was dying, too, so the lines are kind of funky.

Quick update on my Bioshock fan piece, as i said in my previous post i've only just started using photoshop and i'm just trying to work out how to place my colours down so it looks heavy and rough an metallic before i experiment with textures. Any tips on how to go about painting metal digitally would be highly appreciated.

All these studies are from life... if things are numbered e.g. 12/12 , 5/5, 20/20 etc, they're not dates, they're entries for imaginefx daily sketch challenge
First did 2 tone form, most of it's terrible so I'll just post a couple. Was excellent practice and I learnt a lot about form.
Next did 3 tone form (these turned out a bit better - used 3 markers) -...

I was waiting for the Hendrix lol.
What's next...Elvis? Michael Jordon?
The only thing bugging me is the hands...mainly his right hand. The thumb and where it joins the rest of the hand looks awkward.
Keep it up!

wow I really love the colors you've used on those paintings, but like the others said use now and then a harder brush, it will come out more realistic
and good luck with the medicine studies, you could combine your art with the medicine
keep up the good work

Hey mate, welcome to a fresh new start:]
Looking good! Do you use a wacom board? In that case I think you can do some nice shading in the pirate and navy piece, especialy on the hard edges at the bottom of the drawings. Just to loose it up some!
Your pencils are nice and clean, just keep up the anatomy studies and you will do great!
