Angelo, good idea (if I only have enough time to do a series in that line) Triffin, you're right about the batman and joker piece. I really don't know why he wear that unusual gear. I only were looking to do an unusual piece, with a curious composition, to depict both characters older as usual (that's the reason for the title "Ye olde enemies") ...and up the irons! ;P

Hey Mr.D, thanks for stopping by! The larger 2 are 1000mmx800mm, and the smaller 1000mmx500mm. As time wears on, and my eyesight deteriates I'm finding it easier to scale up the canvas, and the brushwork. Am enjoying being a bit free-er (sp?) with painting and not getting side-tracked with unnecessary detailing. Ha! Number 4 is sketched out, ready for underpainting and I've got the roughs sorted for number 5 - a portrait of the wife...
