Antivirus will work. But to be hones with you, Microsoft has made windows 7 less secure than vista. Just get a good antivirus program like Avast. And download Malwarebytes anti malware for free. And you good to go. Just google these. And get a good registry cleaner to get your pc running smoothly. Might I reccommend ccleaner.
