I did put both drives on the same cable. Nothing fundamentally different in results from what I posted above. The cable is fine. I have another drive that I can connect, and it works correctly. The other drive has an NTFS file system. Both controllers are enabled. Before playing musical chairs with the drives, I had 2 hard drives and 2 optical drives connected, and all worked fine.

IF you control the exchange server that these emails are going through you may be able to 'filter' the attachements that way and place them in a folder. But as Mak said, there is no option within Outlook that would do this for your users - there may be a 3rd party add-on to do it. But Outlook doesn't do this out-of-the-box.

There is no default option to do this. You have to right click the file and click the save as option.

If you have the operating system disk I would just back up any important information and either do a repair installation or a format and fresh install.
Edit: Try the repair installation first.

Hi,
Whoaa NT4's been unsupported for a long while now for it to still be in use!
Is it Windows NT4 Server or Workstation Edition that's installed? Is there any particular reason why they're still running NT4? Also, what are the specifications of the system?
My strong advice would be for them to upgrade to a newer operating system, especially since the system is connected to the Internet...

i have an old P3 XP gathering dust. can i ethernet link it to my XP Dell D3000 P4 please?
would this be a straightforward thing to do or is it highly complicated?

Recognition of a hard drive in Windows XP I installed a new hard drive and reinstalled the existing copy of Windows XP on it (along with all the updates and service packs). I tried to connect the old hard drive to copy data over by two means. Any chance you are hitting the windows button between ctrl and alt?
If the start menu is expanded when it happens then that is the cause.
My keyboard has a game mode which disables it saving me from that problem.
If not turn off avg and game to test your theory.

The default is only for WMP, with Plus it adds support for WinAmp. Check the Plus Site for additional Addons for iTunes support.
