If you work very slow and you have common sense and work with caution, very slim.
If you're blowing through the project yanking at stuff going crazy, you probably will bend them. All you do is line up the arrow on the corner of the processor to the one on the motherboard tray, put it about 4 millimeters above the slot, and
just drop it in.

The difference between the two processors is exactly 100MHz. They are identical except for their operating speed.
I have no idea
what " 4.4 GT`s Bus Speed " means or what it even refers to.

It sounds like a good idea to me to go for the quad.
Laptops cannot be upgraded in the same way as a desktop so its best to go for something more.
That would be one powerful laptop!

im pretty sure that Northbidge and
Southbridge are the two main chips that make up the Chipset. theyre on AMD boards too.
correct me if im wrong ???

Depending on your motherboard chipset and operating system, the CPU may throttle down to
conserve power and lower temperatures.
As I type this my 3 Ghz quad core runs between 800 and 1800 Mhz with an occational jump to 3 Ghz.
