I had the surgery done at LSI in Jan of 2007.  Do not do it.  It IS like going to to buy a car (I know I use to be a finance manager).  I also had several medical issues when I got home.  LSI was of no help or support.  I am in worse pain today.  And I have often wondered if I would have not done the surgery if I would be in less pain today.  DO NOT DO IT!!  Talk to your...

Ok, I have this too. For me it's a small patch  of skin about  just below my knee on the outer side of my left leg.  I too first noticed it while getting into bed and I too can recreate the pain by pushing the correct spot on my leg. I take 150mg of lyrica twice a day and 60 mg of cymbalta once a day for severe pain due to nerve damage from back surgery.  I have done well, but have gained weight and found myself tires a lot.  But my pain level is decreased a lot.  I have to say the two meds work well together.  I am working full time and getting back to a normal lif, bbut it has been a long road.  Unfortunately, its hard to...

Hi - these meds seem to be considered the current "cutting edge" for treating Fibromyalgia. Check out the user ratings of Cymbalta (Duloxetine) and Lyrica (Pregabalin) for Fibromyalgia.

Hi Teresa, You explained so well the exact same feeling I've been suffering with in my neck for about 9 months now. I wish I understood the results of your ct scan and mri, but I don't. I'm hoping someone here will be able to explain them in simpler terms. I just went for an xray of the c-spine and hips and the technician asked me if I've ever been in a car accident when he was looking at ...
