What programs does everyone use? Do you use stuff like Dreamweaver and Frontpage or go with simpler methods like notepad, notpad++ ect? also is this more a matter of preference on what to use can they all do the same things?

Hi guys? I'm looking to run a web server on my lan line, i will not be hosting any web sites, I'm just using the server to practice my server side coding such as php and cgi.
