Are you currently using this against firmware 3.1 on a 9600 series set? This option isn't defined in the admin guide and I've tried it on 3 different phones with no luck. I have tried placing this up in the global options on the file and in the 9630 model settings.

This is done on the change locations screen.. you build an offset from the main system and assign the location to the IP-Network-Region screen.. make sure that the IP addresses of the sets are identified and assigned to the proper region in the IP-network-map and that any gateways have the proper region and location identified as well Dave

if you have maintenance, and the phones are grey/black market phones, they will void your entire switch's maintenance. i guess that's the simple answer.

Did you ever get help? I am trying to upgrade my 4690 sets also; but its not working. I copied the new bin files to the tftpboot directory on my tftp server; and I changed the 46xxupgrade.scr file to "point" to the new bin file. Then I re-booted the 4690; but it doesn't appear to download the new firmware.

Please check the correct type of phone set in your configuration. It seems that its not the same as the connected set. And you have to enable "display module?y" in the station options. regards,

We have 9650 phones and misc. phones loose there manually programmed keys on the phone, but not the programming CM is fine. This happens for no reason, they can be fine in the AM then resort back to old programmed settings. In CM everything is fine, our fix is having to use the TFTP backup files to restore the phone from the prior day. Anyone seeing this or know the fix? DO 9650 have an internal ...

This is going to sound like an odd request but we have hotel cubes. The phones stay at the login screen but every few seconds the phones beep. I think this is just a system setting that is hard coded in the phones but I wonder if there's a way to eliminate that beep. We have a bunch of 9620s.
