#5 was one of the best yet! This Blackest Night tie-in with the Doom Patrol is actually REALLY GOOD! A great jumping-on point. The team gets pretty beat up in here. Robot Man fights his own animated dead body! Pretty weird stuff! Seeing him punch his own decomposed head was creepy. Team leader Niles Caulder gets his legs smashed off. Batwoman is now one of my favorite characters. The last scene with her father I caught myself thinking "This is Batwoman, an equal to Batman." Not an equal to Bruce per se, but far as a hero I think she can be a big figure hero in the DCU. I hope after her run in Detective, and apparently her solo title she stays around for a long long time. This story has been so great I'd hate for something bad to happen to the...

The t-shirts are pretty nice. I've enjoyed the trip down memory lane for Batwoman. Nice to see what got her to the super-hero stage in her life.

You should pick up the latest issue of Batman first, although not essential. This first issue was pretty good.

I still find it kinda weird why she doesn't her own proper title, and I will miss Dini's work on this book, but this is a very good substitute. Highly looking forward to finally reading Batwoman!

If anyone is looking for some depth to one of the central villains of Blackest Night , be sure to check out Green Lantern #43 , currently on the shelves. The GL's themselves don't show up much, but this issue is all about the life and times of William Hand, the disturbingly creepy and gruesome Black Hand.

I'm just read through the JSA:Classified #7 and was wondering how this goes with the regular JSA? Seems that it is a head of JSA because Jakeem seems fine in JSA:Classified where in JSA he just got cleared up. Both seem to come before the Crisis as The Flash still has speed.
