Race-fan, I think I was in a bad mood when I wrote that. That said, the last ten races have remained more or less the same since before the Chase started. It makes sense, then, that Johnson's team would concentrate more on those tracks than on some others. You have a point that he does better at those tracks. My only point is the implication that those tracks favor him in some way. If I were another driver with championship aspirations I...

Zeeter,  You wrote:   It makes sense, then, that Johnson's team would concentrate more on those tracks than on some others.  This is one of the points that I strongly disagree with. It is really hard to make a case for this statement when you look at the grand scheme. For example, if you were to look at the current 10 chase tracks. Take Jimmies average finish at these 10 tracks for 2002 and 2003 (or pre-chase) and...

The problem is that if Jimmy Johnson has a fast car, he isn't willing to sit in second to conserve gas. If he had stayed behind the 83 car, he probably would have been in victory lane instead of Vickers. Nobody said that Jimmy had to lead those laps at the end, Jimmy couldn't stand running second to Vickers. That's Jimmy's fault plain and simple.

Its a sad day for Nascar indeed. JR would have been better to select the upcoming Christie Wallace if he wanted a female driver, at least she has talent and comes from a very talented family.  Let the fits and huffs begin with this spoilt brat of Indy racing. This is one sport I still enjoy, (up to now) lets hope it stays that way and her prima donna ways are kept to a ...

I wasnt a fan of it at first. With the new double file restart it takes away the chance to race back on the lead lap. A chance that has been there for along time. So i got no problem with it now.

I guess he is upset with 09 and 08 season. I think he needs a new pit crew myself how come the other 3 guys are doing great. His engine always blows up up something.
