Does the AFC suck this year or something? I am sick of all these 7-7 teams. For crying out loud AFC someone please get to 10-6 for the WC just to make it respectable.

Well I guess it's better than the batteries that Philly fans threw at JD Drew during a Phillies game. Still a ****ty thing to do though. They should have escorted those Niner fans to a box seat to compensate for the game being ruined for them.

I don't know -- you could argue that the plays Troy Polamalou made in the few games that he played earned him a spot on the team. His interception in the TEN game is still one of the most played highlights of the 2009 season on NFL Network. And besides, he has great hair.

I'm probably over-simplifying things -- but based on your list, it looks like the Steelers can make the playoffs if they win out (vs. BAL, at MIA) and the NY Jets, Jaguars and Broncos lose at least one game. NY Jets (@IND, vs. CIN) Jaguars (@NE, @CLE) Broncos (@PHI, vs. KC) If the Colts play all of their starters next week, there is a good chance that all three could lose next ...

He's an excellent quarterback but I think the amount of physical talent around him and his perceived attitude keeps him from real MVP consideration. I see him getting an MVP at some point in his career though, the guy is a stud.

Rivers is more physically gifted, but I think Brees is better in the mental part of it. He reads and manipulates defenses better, doesn't seem to get flustered quite as quickly. Rivers is still quite young though and could very well achieve the mental level of Brees while still having the physical gifts. For the time being if I had to choose 1 to win me a game or lead my tam through a season, I'd...
