As far as I know, Metalpots, it's all right, as long as I withdraw all apps if I get in ED to Swarthmore. On the other hand, it's good to know that it could be an issue. I hope it isn't, because both those schools are really high on my list and I would hate to anger them. Thanks for bringing it up. I should keep it in mind.

It will have a lot to do with whether they are recruiting any of those athletes and whether other connected such as legacies are applying. Your stats certainly put you in the running.

Brandeis - IDK USC - low reach John HOpkins - reach UCLA - reach Dartmouth - umm... extremely high reach considering your UW GPA and lack of AP assets in most of your high school years. EC is great though. Dartmouth admission is very unpredictable and competitive... but theres definately no harm in applying because of your EC's. Rice - reach Rochester -idk Yes COolbrezze... I also agree with him that you should get some more decent...

Thanks Rose Good luck with applications! Just saying, I need to also take the EJU, Entrance to Japanese University. It makes sure you know enough Japanese to take college classes in Japanese... so that's pretty stressful o.O Thanks again, and hope you get into the college of your choice!

Hey Everyone! I was just wondering what you think of my chances at this school: Academics: - Male, White, Long Island Public School Student - 93.6 unweighted, 95 weighted GPA - 11th 2 APs (4-Bio, 5- US History) - 12th- 4 APs (Psych, English Lit, Macro Economics, and US Government) - 6 Honors Classes Tests: Im only using my ACT score, b/c it was vastly superior to my SAT, and it covers my SAT 2 requirement, so here it is: - 31 ACT...

Thanks so much, I applied to the med programs for kicks, honestly, and I figure I'll still be considered for regular admission if and when denied. Tufts and WashU are gone. . . In regards to JHU, I'm pretty much within range for gpa and SAT scores. . . I'm applying to the Nursing/International Health school at Georgetown, which is slightly less competitive, which puts me in better contention, though it is the toughest school on...

Are you an American citizen? If you are an expat, could you be considered a Texas or California resident? The state schools you mention give a pretty big preference to state residents, so if you are not a state resident, your stats would have to be higher relative to the rest of those applicants. Seems like you're right in the zone for Trinity. Not sure about the others--they may publish ...

Geez. You've really planned out your next 4 years. I have 2 suggestions for you:
1. Try taking more AP classes instead of their honors/regular version.
2. Depth, not breadth. You've got a lot of EC's but it's better to pick a few you REALLY like and do a great deal for them. It's better to do it that way instead of so many clubs with just leadership positions that don't show real depth....

You look like you have a fantastic chance (well, as "fantastic" as Ivy League chances get) at HYPSMC ... Cornell would certainly be a lower-match for you. I am jealous.

For anyone to accurately chance you, we would need:
1. HS GPA
2. What you've done since dropping out
3. Subject test scores
If these factors don't weigh heavily in your favor, I would say that your chances are minuscule to none. Otherwise, you may have a shot, but I would say that it's going to be incredibly difficult, more-so than it would be for any other applicant.
Good luck ...

Sorry, but I don't see any to college with a 75% and a 2100. Your EC is a good one, but not great by the standards of these schools.
