my roommate smells

It would be mean to NOT tell him, considering that his smell severely hampers his socializing ability. Then again, I am guessing he doesn't talk to people much anyway, but like flumoxed said maybe he doesn't even realize it.

They got the California Democratic Party to call for the impeachment of Bush and Cheney when they were in office, for withdrawal from the WTO and Cancellation of Nafta, for a moratorium on the death penalty, for the lowering of the voting age, for an Iraqi/Afghani Children's War Memorial, for instant run-off voting, for Respect for the Government of Venezuela, and a grunch of other positions. ^Thank you. I think they approve sixty percent of the students to transfer, so if I can finish the lower division courses, I will be able to transfer in two semesters. That would be ideal

TBVH, it really is a common sentiment. I don't know why. For me, it's the location - not a big fan of Hobo town.

It depends on the UC. Cal and UCLA practice holistic admissions and will evaluate the rigor of your coursework, both in total classes and in honors/AP difficulty level.
Some of the other UCs put points in their admissions formula to reward those who take more than the required minimum of a-g courses.
Examples - UCD gives 50 points for each a-g class above 35 taken and planned for senior...

Personally, I would talk to him. Tell him your a bit nervous to work with all the expensive equipment and if he could show u around 100%. Dont be worried about being too dumb. Do the best you can. As long as you work hard and dont slack off im sure the professor will be happy to have you

OK, so I just found on UCB's website that they do not offer financial aid to "internationals" - would Canadian citizens fall into this category?

it's achiral so the resonance for each side are the same. the molecule is 4-heptanone ( http://www.chemblink.com/structures/123-19-3.gif )
but yeah, what he said in lab lecture and 3a lecture seemed like the exam is going to be really random...did anyone take 3aL in the summer?
how many resonances did you expect in 4B A-E? (i feel like im over thinking it)

i dont know about most popular, but it's the easiest to just get into L&S undeclared, then pick a track. the hardest is the college of engineering; EECS, bioengineering, and undeclared engineering are the most competitive.
And the other colleges (CoC, CNR...) probably rank somewhere in between.

Of course the UC system has no tuition now. It has varies fees, but nothing named tuition because in California the charter specifies that it will be tuition free for all residents, and so it is.

Dude, I am hella scared of Berkeley becoming privitized. A lot of the professors I know here teach at Berkeley for the very reason that it is a public school. If we privitize the university, then a lot of talent would leave.
