wrote my essays 2 days before the deadline. got in everywhere. that's not me trying to brag, it's to let you guys know that you can relax a little. Do your very best of course but don't start pulling your hair out thinking that if they come across one run on sentence they will just throw your app away. /but if you know your not the strongest writer don't take that to mean you shouldn't seek a little advice ect.

probably not but we don't know what school you go to and what the policies are there for French 1A and 1AL. you should talk to a counselor who is familiar with your CC's policy and has your information in front of you.

So, I'm sitting at my friend's house having a beer, catching up on some messages, and I just thought I should let you all know: I'm in Santa Cruz right now ! :P Just dropped by campus earlier today to talk to my major department advisors. Awesome.

You will need to enter in all grades for all colleges you have attended. Your GPA will be based on all of your grades from all three campuses. Do not knowingly exclude any information, this, as mentioned, would be grounds for any admission offer you receive being rescinded. If you are a California resident, you need minimum a 2.4 (some departments do require a higher GPA) to be UC qualified. If you fall below this, you're SOL. However, if...

I think if you keep it focused that's what they want to see. I mean, it just depends on which qualities you talked about. If, for instance, you talked about (this is just hypothetical) your care for the world and then in the second half wrote about how you love music, then they're going to be like...ok? Haha you know? I mean, the good thing is if you submitted the app there's nothing you can do, and it won't negatively...

Your chances are terrible. The UC schools really frown upon applicants with 4.0's, or with all their major-prerequisites done.

Go to your college's website and look for a pdf that describes how many units each ap test will give you for your major. After you are absolutely sure that you get 4+ units for chemistry w/ a 3 you can submit your application (w/o an additional comment but if you want you can add it). Good luck.

It is a bit of a disadvantage coming from a community college, but not too bad. The medical schools DO NOT make you retake the pre req classes. (not sure where you heard that) they still count, even at a CC. However, med school's do "look down" upon CC classes. So, just get a 4.0 at your CC, and don't let it drop once you get to your four year. If they see a 4.0 at CC than a 3.0 at your four year...
