College Board sends scores without any indication of other tests taken or that you exercised score choice. However, your high school may be like many which put all your scores on your official high school transcript.

Quote: It does test math ability. It just relies too much on curve and not enough on ability to distinguish between scores in the 700+ tier. It tests how well you can read fine print. Maybe that's a useful skill for college you know. Gotta read that small print whenever you buy stuff and what not. Good thing the SAT is keeping us safe.

also, there was a question about folding a paper hot dog way, then hamburger way, and then ______ (fill in the blank please) way and there was a hole and asked you to pick how the whole paper would look like? Did anyone put D and can anyone remember what was the 3rd way the paper was folded?

Yeah, I circled "respectively" in the sentence as well. It should have been respectfully. But I was super doubtful about that question too since I've never come across a sentence error question in which the error in the sentence was a misused word. THat was just weird.

I'd say that if this was for the SAT I Essay prompt (and it addressed a question based on this)
this would get like a 5 or 6.
Reason:
The topic, firstly, is too cliche (the reader always wants something unusual to make life better). Secondly, there's not a strong thesis statement in this passage. Thirdly, there's a lot of grammatical/spelling mistakes. This passage does not address the ...

Well, I guess it depends on what colleges you're looking at. From browsing on the Ivy League forums, I discovered that virtually all the international "chance" topic creators have ~2200 or higher SATs, so the competition is pretty ridiculous. If you're looking to other colleges however, I'm not sure.

You have two issues, receipt and matching. Likely college has already received the scores but it can take quite a while thereafter to then match that score to your file particularly if it is a college that is still one that receives scores by mail (they likely received hundreds or thousands of scores within the last two weeks and clerical personnel have to take all those and input them into the ...

December is the last date you can take SAT IIs for UCs. You must have two SAT IIs for the UCs. Registration for Dec test has passed but you can attempt to go stand-by -- have a prepared registration form, have check to cover the costs and show up early at the testing center and attempt to get in.

Generally, I would avoid sending scores below 700 to highly selective universities. That said, Lit is a very difficult SAT II, and getting anything above a 600 is very respectable. Your choice, imho.

Well I worked really hard to improve my score from a 31 to a 34 on the ACT. I took the ACT before I took the SAT, and I liked it more.
If I was to put the tests in your categories i would say that the ACT is for hard workers while the SAT is for smarter people. The SAT is made to trick you, while the ACT's main focus is to test you on the subject matter (writing, math, reading, science).

UUUGH! I hate hearing stories like this. Should I feel sorry for you 'cuz you cheated and then the answers you wrote were probably in the wrong row? How dare you cheat! And then admit it?!! Now I suppose many kids cheat, but geez, you probably won't get caught. So relax. But DON"T ever, EVER cheat again!

For me it was more like, 2350+ you get a PS3. 2300+ you're okay, and lower than 2300 you're out in the streets. T___T''

Writing is not added into the composite on the ACT and the research on whether or not the writing section actually predicts college success is still being done.

Don't cancel. As long as you tested outside of Ohio where it seems there were different forms, you will be fine. But more practically, I believe that you need to cancel ACT scores BEFORE you walk out of the testing center. You're bigger problem here is if they notice you copied her answers (you guys will have similar wrong answers). Then, you (and her) will be screwed. They will pretty much ...
