My HS doesn't give any credit. I think they don't to discourage academic competition, which is already rather fierce at my school. When I first asked about it, the first thing my counselor said was "You can't use this to jump ahead of anyone [in terms of rank]." I'm doing it anyway, because I'm interested in the class, have no room in my sched (could actually fit it if there weren't certain rules...

I live like 5 minutes away from my school, so I usually just walk or my mom gives me a ride if it's snowing or raining.

I walk home from school sometimes. But pretty much only one other person in my school lives close enough to do that. But I'd say 95% of my school lives at least 2 miles away. A good chunk (like 25%-40%) live between 20-45 minutes away by driving, and about 10%-15% live more than 45 minutes away. We have a bunch of kids who live out of state. =/
